At first there was Freewebs, then as time progressed we moved to Guild Portal, now again it's time for Omani to upgrade. Not to Freewebs, Guildportal, or Guildomatic. But to Jackal's Den. What is Jackal's Den you ask? This is my own personal website hosted by Host Monster.

So why should any of this matter to you? It means less downtime, no more competing with the entire WoW community to get your own unique Username. It means that I can provide real support for login issues and lost passwords and the content can be directly modified and upgraded as needed. It also means a much faster response time.

This also means uploading screen shots directly onto the website through the Gallery so no more hot linking to Image Shake or Photo Bucket.

So, please be sure to register at the new site, it has a completely independant user database so it will be easy to get the name that you prefer.

I've been working on a project to develope a better website for Omani. When we jumped from Freewebs to Guild Portal we saw a significant amount of improved features, functionality, and much more. But there was also the issue of the complexity to new users to create accounts, apply to the guild, and the fact that the admin side if Guild Portal is rather limited in terms of us suporting and trouble shooting website issues.

That said I've been developing a replacement site for us. It is still very much in beta as I'm still chasing a few bugs. The registration is complete independant from Guild Portal, so yes you'll have to reregister on the site, but you can also have your own unique username as well as setting your display name to that of your character.

While the graphic of the site are not finished yet, it is functional, so for the time being pay no mind to the rather bland set up.
